The prepositions

Prepositions are words to show the relation between a noun and another word in a sentence .
Ex : He sits at home .
 Prepositions have many uses . They can express place , time or any relation with word .
* Prepositions of time:
1- In It is used with the names of months and seasons. It is also used with parts of day or night in general sense.
Ex: 
- He will come in may.
- She was born in 1962.
- I eat in the evening .
2- On It is used with the days of the week and the days of the month. 
Ex: 
- I see you on May.
- He went out on five the July.
3- At It is used to indicate a definite time as hours, minutes and with noon, night and midnight. 
Ex: 
- He plays at six o'clock. 
- She prays at noon.
- He came at night. 
- She slept at midnight. 
4- Till It is used for future time.
Ex: He will play till midnight. 
5- After It is used for a certain period.
Ex: He will finish after two hours. 
6- Before  It means before a certain Period.
Ex: He works before noon.
7- Since It is used for the beginning of a certain period of time. 
Ex: He had read the lesson since six o'clock. 
8- For It is used for the duration of time.
Ex: I have played for two hours. 

* Prepositions of place:
1- In for countries, capitals, states; provinces and the inside of things. 
Ex: 
- He lives in London. 
- She studies in Germany. 
2- Near It means beside to.
Ex: The house is near th hospital.
3- Beside It is used to show.
Ex: I sit beside you.
4- Above It Means everything higher than certain point. 
Ex: The fan is above the desk.
5- Below It Means anything below a certain point. 
Ex: The picture is below the lamb. 

There are many prepositions of place :
Ont , At , Far From , In From of , Behind , Over , Under , Towards , To , Into , Out of , Through ,From , Between , Among , Upon , Of , Off , For , By , With , Without , Past , Across , Along , Beyond , Concerning , Next , Round , About , Except , Despite ....,
